Scientific name: Gadus moruha. Commonly called Cod, which comes from cold seas. Its size is not excessively large but there are specimens that can reach 2 m and weigh up to 100 kg.
Fishing zone: FAO 27. The FAO 27 zone is located in the Atlantic Ocean and it extends from the west coast of the Iberian Peninsula to the west coast of Greenland and the east of the Barents Sea.
