Scientific name: Sepia Pharaonis; cuttlefish species that can be found west of the Indian Ocean between the Red Sea area and the Persian Gulf. It can reach up to 42 cm in lenght and 5 kg in weight.
Origin: India.
Fishing zone: FAO zone 51. It is located in the Indian Ocean and extends froms the east coast of India to the east coast of Africa, reaching the meridian 45 south. This area in turn is divided into eight sub-zones.
